For Construction Safety Week, J.C. Cannistraro, Boston’s leading industrial mechanical contractor, wanted to focus on mental health, an aspect of workplace safety that is often overlooked. Stress, long hours, and chronic pain are some of the factors that lead construction workers to die at disproportionate rates from suicide and drug overdose.

Cannistraro has taken steps to combat this in their own workplace, and their employees shared the healthy ways in which they deal with stress and receive support from their peers.
